Developmental & Sports Neuropsychologist. Boarded in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. Testing. Concussion evaluation/management. Intervention for sleep issues.

I am a developmental neuropsychologist and sports neuropsychologist, health service psychologist, and nationally certified school psychologist. I hold a Diplomate in behavioral sleep medicine and am a Fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and Sports Neuropsychology Society. I provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services to promote brain health in children, adolescents, and adults. Evaluation services provide diagnostic clarity and facilitate intervention planning for a variety of medical and neurological disorders and differences, developmental disorders from ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia, to acquired and traumatic brain injuries, persistent post-concussion symptoms, NF1, cancer, PANDAS, and children involved in high-conflict divorces. I have particular expertise in working with twice exceptional students and continue to consult in the testing industry. My current practice also includes individual behavioral sleep medicine services and medico-legal evaluation and case consultation, second opinions, and IEE's. I am an approved sponsor of continuing education for psychologists and offer educational programs for related providers and the lay public locally, nationally, and internationally. A founding member of the Sports Neuropsychology Society, I attended the 2008, 2012, and 2016 International Symposia on Concussion in Sport. I have provided concussion management for WPS, MLS, NHL/AHL, ECHL, and AAA baseball teams and high school and collegiate athletes in Iowa, metro DC, and Atlanta and am the Neuropsychological Consultant for USA Rugby's Anthem RC. I have been a Credentialed ImPACT Consultant and RRCA Certified Running Coach and am available to consult with elite and collegiate sports teams to improve mental health and performance by focusing on sleep and to expedite recovery from concussion. Based in my hometown of Charlotte, I offer telehealth and in-person services to clients in Iowa, Atlanta, and Charlotte metro areas, and any of the 41 other states part of the interstate PSYPACT network. Concierge services available locally and on location. Specialty niche services include: IEE's; high-conflict divorce (neurodevelopmental evaluations of children and consultations for school placements and sleep); high-stakes testing accommodations (re-evaluations, consultation/appeals, second opinions); sports-related concussions (team/organization independent neuropsychological consultant, expert testimony, clinical evaluation and management of concussed athletes and others); comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and young adults with complex medical, (neuro)developmental, social-emotional histories, including differential diagnoses and intervention planning; behavioral sleep interventions for bedtime problems, insomnia, narcolepsy/IH, CPAP habituation, and for elite athletes and teams.
