Marla’s expertise includes supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, and ADHD, as well as life transitions, relationship stress, and challenges with emotional regulation. A Licensed Professional Counselor, Marla utilizes a collaborative and goal-oriented style that emphasizes transparency, emotional safety, and measurable progress. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Therapy, while incorporating additional evidence-based strategies to meet individual needs. She has experience working with diverse populations, including those involved in adoption and foster care, LGBTQ+ individuals, and military veterans. Marla is deeply committed to providing culturally affirming and empowering care for BIPOC and other minoritized communities.
