The transition to college can present unique challenges and be more stressful than anticipated. Social and academic pressures, the processes of identify formation and becoming more independent are among the many factors that can become overwhelming during this stage. I am empathetic to the situational stressors that people face in this stage of life and have found fulfillment in helping students as they navigate their way. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience as an NP, I offer students support through psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management.
