I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, offering in person services from Charlottesville. With over 50 years of experience, I provide individual therapy for adults, seniors, and young adults, addressing issues like anxiety, depression, grief and gender identity. I am an LGBTQ-affirming therapist and I work with diverse groups, including immigrants and veterans. Marilyn accepts various insurances, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare and Medicare, and offers out-of-pocket payment options. Over time my approach has become a relaxed, eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches to help an individual identify, understand and find solutions to the problems he, she or they experience in the present environment that may or may not have roots in past history.
