I specialize in providing talk therapy, psycho-education & skills-based counseling.

Teens and adults typically work with me as they are going through life transitions, have family of origin concerns, or are coping with ADHD or anxiety, especially if they are high achieving individuals or are dealing with high functioning perfectionism. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): a situation triggers a thought, which leads to feelings and behaviors. Together we will identify unhelpful patterns and practice new responses. You will learn how to rewire your brain, one pattern at a time. Other frameworks I incorporate include Narrative Therapy, which focuses on understanding your story, and Internal Family Systems or IFS, which focuses on accepting that while you are a product of your experiences you are always capable of rewiring your brain. Therapy is a place for you to share what is on your mind in any given period of time and talk through your concerns productively. Therapy can also be a mentally stimulating exploration of your life’s experiences, and a place where you feel both challenged and supported as you try new habits and skills in your daily life.
