Maisha Correia

Dr. Maisha Correia is a California-based psychiatrist who has been providing clinical care since 2010. She completed her undergraduate studies at Vassar College, earning a BA in Psychology with a correlate in Chemistry, before obtaining her MD from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Correia offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and careful medication management for various psychiatric conditions, with a specific clinical interest and extensive experience in treating chronic trauma symptoms. Adopting a collaborative approach to psychiatric care, Dr. Correia encourages open dialogue regarding different treatment options a patient may wish to explore. She finds great joy in creating handmade gifts for her loved ones, frequently dedicating her time to crafting baby blankets, amigurumi plush toys, and warm-weather apparel for her friends and family.
