Mahala is a bilingual therapist blending EMDR, IFS, somatic and attachment work to support healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

Mahala is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in existential-humanistic therapy. Her integrative approach combines EMDR, Psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and attachment-based interventions. At the heart of Mahala’s work is the belief that healing happens in relationships: with ourselves, with others, and within the therapeutic space. She views therapy as a collaborative and courageous process, grounded in warmth and curiosity. Mahala’s intention is to offer a space where clients can connect with their inner wisdom, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a more authentic and expansive way of living. Outside of her work as a therapist, Mahala enjoys spending time in nature, including hiking and rock climbing. She also enjoys ceramics, reading, film, and cinematography.
