Madeleine (Maddie) Krause
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I work with people of all backgrounds to help bring their stories to light and help them write the rest of it in a way that best serves them!
Therapy is a collaborative process, meaning that together, we will work on developing and achieving the goals that are important to you, in whatever season you may be in. You are the expert on your life and I am here to help you unpack whatever trials and tribulations you may have experienced or are currently experiencing. I am here to empower you and encourage you through this process of self-discovery. I work from a strength-based approach so that while we will talk about your concerns, whatever they may be, we will also focus on what is working for you, and the personal, cultural, and spiritual strengths that have been with you all along. I draw on many different counseling theories and techniques depending on each client’s specific needs/desires, including Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic Theory, Multicultural Feminist Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Somatic Experiencing, and Solution-Focused Theory. I know it is not always easy to take the first step in deciding that therapy is suitable for you. So I want to thank you for being here. I encourage you to book an appointment with me today!
