I welcome and offer care to clients of all identities and backgrounds
Welcome to my practice. I've been working in the field of psychology for 15 years, beginning with home visits to at risk families in rural Pennsylvania, to a therapeutic nursery school in Chicago, emergency room consultations, intensive outpatient groups, and now in private practice. In my education and training I actively sought experiences where I would become multiculturally competent and I most value being someone who is non-defensive when I get it wrong, curious, unassuming, and sensitive to others' needs and comfort levels. I bring an approach that combines evidence-based symptom reduction with psychodynamic exploration, all informed by trauma theory and attachment theory.
