Louise Bell

I am a neurodivergent and queer therapist who enjoys working with motivated folks that are seeking to build satisfaction, authenticity, and fulfillment in their lives. Many of those that I have worked with have faced challenges related to life transitions, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ identity, systemic oppression, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. I believe that the therapeutic relationship as a collaboration between client and therapist; ultimately, that you, the client, are the expert of their own life. I approach this work from an intersectional and anti-oppressive lens; I am deeply committed to holding space for folks to explore their needs in a safe and supportive manner, while also holding them accountable. I strive to bring empathy, non-judgement, and humor (when appropriate) to the therapeutic relationship. As Albert Camus stated, “The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion". Regardless of what society has told you, you are both deserving and capable of living a fulfilling and authentic life. Together, we will explore and work towards your goals for living the life you want.
