Providing specialized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and young adults, Dr. Lori Solaro brings more than 25 years of clinical experience to her practice. She has worked extensively across diverse environments, including outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment settings. Dr. Solaro's academic background began at Northwestern University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education and child development, followed by her medical degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her general psychiatry residency and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, serving as chief resident during her tenure. Her clinical approach is defined by a collaborative and supportive style that begins with a thorough diagnostic evaluation. Dr. Solaro is dedicated to guiding families and patients through the complexities of understanding their diagnoses and exploring various treatment possibilities. Currently, she focuses her practice on medication management for children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 18. In addition to her medical expertise, she incorporates mindfulness into her treatment perspective.
