Hello. My name is Lori Adger, LPC, LMAC. I am a mom of three adult children and grandmother of three grandchildren. I love dogs and traveling. I have been practicing mental health and substance abuse counseling for 8 years. I have worked both inpatient and outpatient treatment. I am a dual diagnosis therapist which simply means I treat the whole individual. It all wraps into the individual person, and normally begins with those underlying reasons. I am passionate about working with individuals (ages 18 and up) impacted by Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Codependency, Building Self-esteem/worth, Problem Solving, and Life transitions/growth move towards creating and maintaining emotional wellness and meaning in their lives. My approach to therapy is practical and solution-oriented. I work to provide a relationship in which you feel heard and empowered to move forward. I use a variety of therapy techniques including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Strength based and Client Centered approaches and will work with you to collaboratively process and set goals together as a team to meet your individual needs.
