Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I support my clients by helping to build skills to help with everyday life stressors, generational/past trauma, as well as anxiety and depression
I support my clients by helping to build skills and tools to help with everyday life stressors, generational/past trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, or personal triggers. I enjoy partnering with clients in doing the emotional work that is often difficult but sometimes necessary to wade through. I believe in working collaboratively with clients to pursue a life that they feel is meaningful and worthwhile. Most of all everyone deserves to have a nonjudgemental place where they feel safe and heard. My background is in crisis intervention and working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mood disorders. I utilize evidenced based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Etc. to help provide tools to help cope and process negative thoughts or behaviors, or simply explore with you what is holding you back. Therapy is quite often a journey, and it is my commitment to meet you where you are. Feel free to reach out to schedule a free consultation to determine if it is a good fit and how we can best meet your needs. I offer individual therapy for teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and conflict. As a North Carolina-based provider, I offer online therapy sessions via secure video to make mental health care more accessible across the state. I’m in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare, and also offer a sliding scale for those paying out of pocket. If you’re looking for trauma-informed therapy for teens in North Carolina or support from an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation.
