Lisa Jurecic
(She/Her/Hers)
Executive Function Coach, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Specializing in the treatment of undergraduate and graduate students for mood disorders and ADHD/Executive Function Disorders.
I have been working with undergraduate and graduate students for the past 15 years. I began working with students when I moved to an office a block from Duke's East Campus. I came to comprehend the enormous pressures students are under academically and socially. The transition from high school to college is challenging and often students face unexpected obstacles to success. Some students struggle academically and issues with attention or organization may become apparent as they enter undergraduate and graduate programs. Students under academic or social pressure may feel the need to cover or mask their difficulties, but seeking help is vital to their short and long-term success. My focus as a therapist is to support and challenge students to grow and thrive during this time.
