Lisa Harrison

I have extensive experience working with the elderly population. My background is in medical social work and have worked in the home health and hospice setting for over 20 years. I understand accessing mental health services can be challenging for all of us, especially the geriatric population due to many reasons including transportation, availability of specialized providers, health issues and stigma. I provide mobile mental health services. I will come to senior living facilities or provide teletherapy. I believe that happiness is not the absense of problems, but the ability to manage them. My desire is to help the geriatric population through developing a trusting relationship, empowering them to live with purpose, dignity and respect.
