Lindsey Hart
(She/Her/Hers)
Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC)
I welcome and affirm clients of all identities and backgrounds in my practice. I work with clients to realize their full mental health potential.
I believe in coming alongside an individual and helping them realize their desires for a mentally healthy way of living. I believe there are times when life’s stressors (past, present, and worries of the future) prevent someone from fully engaging in the current moment and cause distress and discomfort. These do not have to be permanent, and I work with my clients to identify and implement ways to become “unstuck” and move toward the life they desire. I helps clients focus on addressing the current problem, identifying goals aligned with their desired future, and removing roadblocks to achieve those goals. I work with clients experiencing corporate burnout, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community to heal from negative events and to experience life to the fullest. I am also trauma informed and trained in EMDR. This therapy has been proven to alleviate symptoms of complex trauma, PTSD, and a variety of anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, panic, phobias, and social anxiety.
