Lindsey Goergen
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
I work with individuals, couples, and families. My cozy office provides you with a space to explore your feelings while feeling supported & comfortable.
H, I'm Lindsey! Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, depressed, angry, lonely, or hopeless? Does it feel like the weight of the world has been placed on your shoulders? Do you get stuck in intrusive/obsessive thought patterns? You aren't alone and you don't have to feel this way. There is hope for a better and brighter future! I work with individuals, couples and families who experience issues such as: ~OCD (all types) ~narcissistic/psychological abuse recovery ~addiction (and supporting loved ones of addicts) ~co-dependency and boundary setting ~depression/anxiety, grief ~life transitions & work/school stress ~emetophobia I don't believe therapy is a one-size-fits-all scenario. Therefore, I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I-CBT (for OCD), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), attachment theory, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy. I strongly believe that building a strong rapport with my clients is key to helping them make the changes they want to make. Take the steps today to start feeling better by reaching out to schedule an intake session!
