A boutique mental health therapy practice empowering women across the Carolinas to re-connect with themselves, their lives, and their relationships.

Hey, I'm Lindsey!...and I’m so glad you’re here! My specialty is helping women explore and improve their relationships with themselves. The majority of my clinical work focuses on eating disorders/disordered eating/body image, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. While everyone’s story is different, common themes in sessions often center around exploring one's relationship with food/body/movement. Processing past experiences, attachments (romantic and familial), or potential traumas. Exploration of concepts related to contingent self-worth, shame, anxiety, a constant need to “perform/achieve”, or maybe a fear of failure. Development of skills for identifying and experiencing your emotions, practice with regulation and distress tolerance skills, and normalization of concepts like self-compassion, even if it feels icky or undeserved at first. In sessions, this may look like a mix of psychoeducation, processing and reflection, with some experiential and somatic work tied in (like gentle stretching, breathwork, or creative exercises). My approach has been described as warm and relational, yet direct and active. I am laid back and love to incorporate humor! Let's Connect!
