Lindsey Copeland
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
Compassionate behavioral care for anxiety, OCD, mood concerns, life stresses, & issues related to neurodiversity. I also offer psychological evaluations.
I was born in central Kentucky, grew up in northern Alabama, and earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from Mississippi State University. I earned my Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Colorado State University in 2013, after completing an APA-accredited doctoral internship at Duke University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. I was trained to work with a wide range of issues, but I also have a great deal of specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychological evaluations, supporting people with autism or ADHD, and career assessment and counseling. I have provided therapy, consultation, and assessment to children, adults, couples, and families in a wide range of settings, including university counseling centers, a university career center, community colleges, a public school district, a community mental health clinic, and independent schools. I am an LGBTQ-affirming therapist and often work with clients who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am licensed in the state of North Carolina (NC license #4772) and am a member of the American Psychological Association and the North Carolina Psychological Association. I live in Raleigh with my family, a big cheerful dog, two ridiculous cats, and a Japanese fire-bellied newt.
