Lindsay Englund, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, has been providing therapeutic services since 2010. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and earned her graduate degree from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Her care approach is built on a collaborative and holistic philosophy, creating a dedicated space where clients can set their own pace for healing. Lindsay views her role as walking alongside individuals to help them navigate the barriers, noise, and confusion that life can often bring. She focuses on helping patients reach their personal goals for a healthy and fulfilling life by emphasizing perspective, hope, honesty, courage, boundaries, and self-compassion. Believing that therapy involves the mind, body, and soul, she supports clients as they address addiction and self-sabotaging behaviors, relationship difficulties, mood instability, physical illness, grief, and trauma. Her clinical work is informed by specialized training in several modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD, EMDR DeTUR for self-sabotaging behaviors, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Equine EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodrama, and Motivational Interviewing. By actively listening and remaining present, Lindsay tailors these approaches to the specific needs of each individual, helping them find their voice, achieve clarity, and improve their connection with themselves and others. Outside of her professional practice, she enjoys hiking, yoga, horseback riding, reading, and engaging in games and conversation with friends and family.
