Lewis Cosmano

Lew Cosmano is a Psychoanalyst/Psychotherapist] With many years of experience, and as a graduate of Rutgers University of Social Work specializing in the above mentioned areas of specialties, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of patients/clients. In addition to being a prominent therapist, Lew has presented at conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Critical Incident Debriefings for trauma and PTSD; partciularly, debriefings for the World Trade Center disaster,.and parent workshops for the New York City Department of Education; along with being a Director of a rehabilitation center of Passaic county jail. Lew is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help patients/clients effectively address personal life challenges-so they learn to independently observe on how not be negatively critical of themselves. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient/client.
