I'm an experienced Psychologist, seeing individuals and couples (of all genders). Past clients tell me they appreciate my ability to listen warmly but still provide active insight and ideas so they can see problems from a new perspective and consider their options for change. I graduated from Duke and got my Ph.D. from Boston University. I recently moved to NC from Washington, DC. where I practiced for 20 years. I am certified in several forms of Couples Therapy, including EFT, Gottman and Relational. I can be particularly helpful to individuals with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and chronic medical issues.
