I’m a counselor, addiction specialist, and eating disorder specialist dedicated to helping people find their way to a meaningful, fulfilling life.
My passion is working with people who are struggling with eating disorders, body image, trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem, and life transitions. I use a person-centered approach, tailoring sessions to consider each individual’s goals, needs, and challenges. I pull from a variety of clinical approaches as I work with each client, often including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Humanism, or Existential Therapy. I have extensive training in trauma treatment and provide EMDR therapy when appropriate. I am also certified as an eating disorder specialist by the International Eating Disorder Association. I am licensed to practice counseling in the following states: NC, VA, NH, OK, CA, NH.
