I'm accepting new clients! Are having trouble reaching your goals? Are you suffering emotionally and searching for relief? Are you unsure about behaviors or habits that you don’t like? Are you feeling hopeless? I’ll address that last one first: I can tell you that yes, there is hope, but sometimes it’s hard to see. My job is to bring that hope back into view for you. I can’t give 100% guarantees, but I have a lot of evidence that therapy can help relieve depression and anxiety. I would be more than happy to discuss this evidence and how it can apply to you! Therapy helps convert negative emotions into motivation for change. It helps change habits by showing us better ways to get our needs met. I also help people deal with strange experiences like hearing or seeing things that other people do not, or having strange thoughts that you can’t get rid of. These experiences can be very lonesome and frustrating. Clients have told me that I "actually listen," and that “It’s nice to have a therapist that talks and doesn’t just sit there and ask questions.” I’m very down-to-earth, I use humor as needed and I enjoy learning about people. Most importantly, I believe that trauma can be healed, and growth is possible for all.
