I look to hold space for my client's struggles and pain, and help find a way through to thrive, not just survive.

“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.” – John Green Have you ever struggled with self-doubt or low self-esteem? Have you ever felt difficulty finding motivation? Are you struggling in your interpersonal relationships? Are you going through a life transition, or have you recently been through a difficult event that you are having trouble getting past? Do you struggle with perfectionism? I understand it can be hard to reach out for help, but asking for help is the first step to feeling better. I can work with you to determine what your unique goals are to get to a better place. I use unconditional positive regard to help you discover the best path to healing, whether it be by building coping skills, processing trauma, learning to increase self-care, or learning new ways to build boundaries and communicate with those around us. We can work together to identify and increase your strengths to empower you for change! For a long time, I have been drawn towards helping others to find the support they need to get through tough times and life’s difficulties. I believe it is so important to meet each person where they are at in their healing journey and to help them find and build on the resilience and strength that they already have inside. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from Adler University and completed my clinical training working with children, adolescents, teens, and emerging adults. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness to maintain a safe space and help each individual reach their specifically tailored goals. Patience, active listening, skill building, and most importantly, building a trusting relationship with clients is essential to me when providing therapy. I specialize in working with adolescents, teens, and emerging adults who are experiencing trauma/adverse experiences, anxiety, life adjustments, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and lack of self-esteem. When I’m not with my clients, I love to travel, play volleyball, spend time outside, and play with my dog, Riggins!
