Lauren Shavers

I completed my BS in psychology at Troy University in 2008 and my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2012. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in AZ. I love working with children, teens, families, and couples. I have an extensive background working with children and families who have experienced trauma. I am well versed in Marriage and Family Therapy Systems interventions, as well as rostered in trauma-informed approaches such as, Child-Parent Psychotherapy model and trauma-focused CBT. I utilize a strength-based, person-centered approach. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for the clients I serve to promote a safe space for healing.
