Lauren Posner

Lauren Posner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts who has been in clinical practice since 2022. She believes that establishing an authentic rapport is the fundamental first step in any therapeutic relationship. Using a strengths-based approach, she views her clients as individuals who possess the inherent capability to heal and lead fulfilling lives. When individuals feel lost or stuck, Lauren serves as a collaborative and gentle guide. She incorporates humor into her clinical work to foster an informal and relaxed environment for her clients. Her background includes experience working with both adults and adolescents specifically dealing with eating disorders, and she is trained in family-based therapy (FBT). Lauren is particularly passionate about the transformative impact of exposure therapy for managing anxiety disorders, and she also integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) into her practice. Outside of her clinical sessions, she enjoys singing, traveling, and exploring ways to address societal stigma concerning individuals in larger bodies.
