Laura Hickman

Laura Hickman, is a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FPMHNP-BC). She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Iowa in 2002 and a Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN) from Saint Louis University in 2013. She completed her medication management internships through several private practices in Minnesota from 2009-2013, and was also heavily trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Laura Hickman has nearly a decade of providing evidence-based medication management and therapy care to adolescents and adults (through the lifespan). She worked in Community Mental Health clinics and private practices in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. In addition, she has also been trained in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Her provider approach is to help empower patients by using team-based care (you + her) and strives to provide hope and motivation to maximize the road to wellness.
