Psychologist
Mindful, compassionate, and practical therapy for anxiety, adult ADHD, and parenting stress -- especially for parents of kids with ADHD.
Hi, I’m Lacey Schmidt, a clinical psychologist and certified mindfulness and meditation teacher. I specialize in working with adults who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, and the mental load of parenting—especially when raising children with ADHD or intense emotions. Many of my clients are overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or trying to hold everything together while quietly struggling inside. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in mindfulness. I create a space where you can feel heard without judgment, learn practical tools that fit your life, and build the inner steadiness you’ve been craving. I draw from mindfulness-based therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you understand your patterns, strengthen self-compassion, and take action in meaningful ways. Whether you're dealing with scattered focus, chronic worry, or burnout from trying to do it all—I meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your pace. Therapy doesn’t have to be one more thing you “should” do. It can be a place to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself.
