Kyle Hausheer

Serving adolescents, teens, and adults throughout California, Kyle Hausheer, LMFT, provides a collaborative and safe environment where families, couples, and individuals can work toward healing and growth. His therapeutic approach focuses on empowering clients to discover fresh perspectives and identify meaningful daily choices that lead to long-term stability. By combining deep insight with practical tools, he helps people navigate life's various hurdles and foster sustainable change. Kyle has a specific interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, athletes, and those managing substance use issues. He recognizes the particular emotional and psychological pressures associated with sensory processing differences, recovery journeys, and high-level competitive performance. By tailoring his interventions to each person's unique background, he assists clients in strengthening their self-awareness, building resilience, and developing healthier internal and external relationships. In his comprehensive clinical practice, Kyle addresses concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD or trauma. He utilizes evidence-based methods including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, he offers specialized support through Mindfulness, Parenting Skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Therapy, and Couples Counseling. His experience extends to serving the military and veteran community, individuals in the foster care or adoption systems, and the LGBTQ+ community. When not working with clients in San Marcos, Kyle maintains his own sense of connection and balance through outdoor activities like beach volleyball, surfing, camping, and hiking, as well as reading.
