Kurt Haberkorn

Hello, I am Kurt Haberkorn. I am a clinical social worker and have been a practicing therapist in the mental health field for over 30 years. My experience ranges from inpatient, outpatient and residential service services. I have worked with all age groups with a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues involving individual, family and group therapy. My current focus is with adults. My treatment approach comes from a strengths based perspective and I generally apply a combination of Evidenced Based Practices such as Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Based Therapy, and EMDR. I will utilize a task centered approach, meaning I give individuals behavioral tasks / homework in between sessions to help persons achieve their goals. All is dependent on what the individual’s needs are and what is the best fit for them. I believe it is most important to engage in therapy starting from where the client is. Clients of all backgrounds and identities are welcome in my practice.
