Krystal Kershaw

am a Licensed Specialized Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy working with clients who are neurodiverse, and believe that being on the autism spectrum and having ADHD myself, provides a unique understanding of the issues other neurodivergent people go through. In addition to working with neurodiverse clients, I have experience working with individuals who are on a path towards gender affirming transitions. I have previous experience working with youth, adolescents, teens and adults. In the last few years, I have had the opportunity to develop skills in telehealth. Clinical approaches: Client centered therapy is at the heart of any technique or therapeutic modality I use. I believe that for therapy to be a positive and an effective process, a good working relationship must be established. My goal is to always make clients feel comfortable whether in person or through telehealth. I consider myself a very eclectic therapist and use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) in a way that is both gender and Neurodiverse affirming.
