(She/Her/Hers)
Certified Trauma Professional, Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC)
I provide therapy for a wide range of adults, and have extensive experience in supporting those navigating grief, trauma, illness, and stress management.
I am really looking forward to connecting with you. I am fully licensed in both Oregon and Washington, trauma certified, and EMDR trained. Sessions are offered virtually throughout the entire states of Oregon and Washington. With 25 years working across grief, trauma, and community healing, I’ve led groups, taught as a university professor, and held space for people navigating deep pain and deep resilience. My work is grounded in mindfulness, somatics, and collaborative care. We all hold the capacity to grow and move toward a life of health and happiness. Social, cultural, and family systems influence our perspective, and how we connect to ourselves and those around us. Sometimes we feel stuck, stretched thin, or hollowed by grief, trauma, or years of stress that haven't had space to breathe. Sometimes we need to heal from -- or at least learn to carry -- past pain or losses, whether from the death of someone close, a future we envisioned, a critical illness diagnosis, or our changing world. In other words, context matters. When recent circumstances are challenging, or aspects of the past need to be reconciled and faced, together we explore ways to reconnect with the body, your story, people close to you, and your strength through trauma informed, somatic, and mindfulness-based therapy. I provide therapy for a wide range of adult individuals, and have extensive experience in supporting those navigating grief, trauma, illness/medical trauma (including cancer and autoimmune conditions, particularly MS), anxiety, and the accompanying stressors and impacts. I am also a Board-approved Clinical Supervisor for Washington LMHCAs and LMFTAs. The Supervision relationship is built on trust, reflection, support, and curiosity.
