Kimberly Vered Shashoua, LCSW, specializes in helping people become who they really are. It doesn't have to suck forever.
Kimberly Vered Shashoua, LCSW, specializes in helping people become who they really are. Kimberly believes that therapeutic experiences aren’t confined to a therapist’s office; they can be found at school, in music, and even while playing video games. Kimberly thinks things in our everyday lives can help us feel better - and they won’t shut up about it. Kimberly has given many presentations across America, including the Game Developer’s Conference Narrative Summit, part of the largest event for people who make video games. She has won academic and professional awards for her work. Kimberly is a Health at Every Size (HAES) provider and believes that learning to appreciate, and respect your body can be a crucial part of coming home to yourself. While Kimberly is a prolific speaker and author, she is happiest in face-to-face settings. She loves working directly with teens to overcome what holds them back. She believes there is no greater honor than helping someone to control of their own life.
