I welcome and affirm all clients who step into my office. You are the expert on your life and I look forward to helping you build that expertise.

I am a Licensed Psychologist and Eating Disorder Specialist with 20 years in the field. I am the owner of Oak City Psychology, an affirming practice located in North Raleigh. It is our goal that everyone who enters our offices feels respected, safe, and seen. I use a psychodynamic and interpersonal approach to therapy. This means that we will look at the relationship patterns you have learned in your life to help you find places you would like to create change. Understanding your past helps you grow into your future. While this can often be a painful process, I will be there to support you at each step. I believe strongly in my clients' wisdom and autonomy to control their own bodies and support them in making the best decisions they can for their own physical and mental health.
