(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I am passionate about providing mental health therapy and personal growth counseling for college-age and graduate students.
My name is Kim Nichols, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who serves clients at The Armstrong Center for Hope. I received a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University. Originally from Michigan, I have lived in North Carolina for several years. I am a graduate of Western Michigan University, where I earned a master’s degree in English/Professional Writing, a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Arts and Sciences, and Professional Education Certification, kindergarten through eighth grade. I have extensive experience working in healthcare and on college campuses, supervising, mentoring, and serving as a community liaison for health professional, graduate, and undergraduate students in academic institutions. I also provide counseling and spiritual support for individuals within faith-based congregations. I work with individuals across the lifespan. I believe individuals have the tools to solve their own problems, when focused in the right direction. Therefore, I work with clients to determine which therapeutic approach fits their situation and who they are as a person. Are you looking for a warm and compassionate therapist? Contact me.
