Physician Assistant
I want to contribute to breaking the stigma, providing compassionate care, and making a positive impact on people's lives during difficult times.
I am a board-certified Physician Assistant and Psychiatric Provider. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University and my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University. I completed my clinical training in various specialties but ultimately discovered my passion for mental health during my psychiatry rotation in North Carolina. I have experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and ADHD, with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry. I am deeply passionate about making a difference in my patients’ lives and providing a safe, supportive environment. I believe it is essential for my patients to understand that medication is not the only solution for mental health concerns—it is just one piece of the puzzle and addresses only part of the problem. Exercise, a healthy diet, quality sleep, healthy coping skills, setting boundaries, prioritizing responsibilities, and setting realistic expectations all play a crucial role in a patient's overall treatment plan. I offer online therapy in North Carolina and have 3 years of experience. I provide therapy for teens, young adults, and adults, addressing issues like trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I use behavior modification and medication management. I am an LGBTQ ally and culturally responsive, serving diverse groups including people of color and the LGBTQ+ community. I accept various insurances, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicaid, with out-of-pocket options available.
