Dr. Kenneth D'Oyen is a board-certified psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology who emphasizes open communication and collaborative partnerships in his clinical work. Currently, he is accepting new patients for medication management services only and does not offer stand-alone therapy. Dr. D'Oyen’s practice focuses on addressing the emotional, physical, and spiritual suffering that often accompanies anxiety, depression, pain, and addiction, particularly when these issues are rooted in trauma. His goal is to help patients resolve internal and interpersonal conflicts by examining problematic thought patterns. His extensive clinical background includes training in private practice, community mental health settings, the Veteran's Administration, and correctional mental health. Dr. D'Oyen earned his medical degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and completed his psychiatric residency at the UCLA-Olive View Psychiatric Training Program. Before medical school, he received a B.A. in Child Development from the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied how biology, sociology, and education influence human development.
