Kelly Geers

I received my Master of Social Work with a concentration in social justice and diversity from the University of Toronto in 2006. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina, I have worked extensively with survivors of abuse and sexual assault - including narcissistic abuse. I have experience working in several healthcare settings, counseling families as they manage chronic health issues, make end-of-life decisions, and cope with grief and loss. I also partner with the Reclamation Collective and am passionate about providing support during religious trauma recovery. I believe you are the expert in your life, and I will never suggest otherwise. If you don't find yourself in this list of "issues", it doesn't mean we won't be a good fit. Research shows that the most critical aspect of successful therapy is simply the connection between the therapist and the client.
