Kellie Barton
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Master Level Psychologist (LMLP), Licensed Masters Addiction Counselor (LMAC)
I welcome all clients.
My name is Kellie Barton, Ph.D., and I am a dual Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2020 and have since obtained drug and alcohol certifications through the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a Substance Abuse Expert and the Department of Transportation as a Substance Abuse Professional. In 2022, I completed her Certificate of Advanced Studies in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I works with children, teens, and adults facing substance use, depression, anxiety, trauma, difficult relationship dynamics, and the inability to break free from old patterns of behavior. My primary motivation as a therapist is to assist my clients in exploring ways to make positive changes in their lives and to maintain these changes long-term. I believe that all clients should be treated with positive regard in a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment. I use a variety of approaches in working with clients, depending on individual needs, and realizes that no singular approach is right for every client.
