Katie Petrochic is an LPCC providing services to teens and adults. Katie has training and experience working with suicidal ideations, self-harming behaviors, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, body image and self-esteem issues. Katie’s clinical orientation is from a dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, helping clients understand how feelings, thoughts, and behaviors are intertwined, as well as providing essential skills to coping and emotion regulation. Katie earned her Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cleveland State University. She also completed both her practicum and internship placements at The Behavioral Wellness Group, specifically co-facilitating The Adolescent IOP.
