KATHRYN (Kathryn) ANTIN
(She/Her/Hers)
Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds in my practice
I specialize in working with adults (18 and older) navigating eating disorders and recovery, including those supporting a loved one affected by one. Over my years in college mental health and private practice, I’ve also developed a passion for helping people through life’s transitions—whether that means adjusting to college, starting a career, becoming a parent, empty nesting, or coping with unexpected change such as grief, illness, or relationship loss. Beyond my eating disorder specialty, I work with clients addressing women’s issues, identity and values exploration, spirituality and faith, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Having spent over a decade working in university counseling, I particularly enjoy supporting college students and helping professionals who feel stretched thin or uncertain about their next steps. My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in warmth, empathy, and respect. I integrate evidence-based practices through a Health at Every Size (HAES) lens to help you understand what’s contributing to your struggles and guide you toward changes that align with your values and goals. I offer a free initial phone consultation so we can discuss what brings you to therapy and whether we might be a good fit. Feel free to email me with any questions—I’d be glad to connect and help you take the next step toward healing and growth.
