I work with adults and young adults experiencing life transitions, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and LGBTQ identities and concerns.

Seeking therapy is a brave choice, and one that many people find useful at some point in their lives. Having an opportunity to explore and reflect in a safe and non-judgmental environment can prove to be an experience that facilitates change and growth. I see therapy as a process that therapist and client engage in together, creating a safe, trusting relationship in which you feel heard and can explore the issues that are most central to you at this time. As a therapist, I will show up with intentionality, compassion and authenticity. I will listen to your story knowing that you are the expert on your life, seeking to understand and encourage empowerment. I believe in the innate wisdom of the body and will facilitate a process of discovering your individual way to reach healing and grounded-ness. I work primarily with adults, young adults, and couples experiencing life transitions, anxiety, trauma, end of life and/or grief and loss, and LGBTQ identities and concerns. I draw from narrative, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and sensorimotor approaches. I completed my graduate work in social work in 1994 at the University of Minnesota and have focused much of my post graduate work and training in the areas of grief & loss and end of life, trauma, LGBTQ identities and concerns, anxiety, supervision, and mindfulness & whole body integrative therapies. I welcome hearing from you so we can together determine the best approach to addressing what you care about and wish to address.
