Katherine (Kate) Hanson
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in relationship issues, life transitions, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and OCD.
I currently work with NC Therapy Professionals and I have 4+ years experience working as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings along with previous experiences in case management with a university. I utilize a variety of approaches to therapy all aimed at providing a space for my clients to identify their needs and meet their goals. I find that I work well with both clients that are starting therapy for the first time or clients who have tried therapy before but didn't find the right fit. I firmly believe in offering an affirming, welcoming space to all of my clients.
