Kate Fitzsimons
(She/Her/Hers)
Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW)
I am passionate about working with individuals who are going through transitions in their lives, have anxiety, self esteem issues, trauma, and more.
Welcome to my profile. I applaud you for taking the first big step to seek out a therapist that you feel is the best fit. I believe that at some point in our lives, most people could benefit from receiving some additional support - especially from an outside perspective that focuses on only you. As beautiful and exciting as life can be, it can also be extremely challenging and overwhelming. There are many things in our lives that we cannot control, however, there are things that we do have control over which are the parts that I feel are important to work through together in therapy. My approach to therapy is to create an environment where individuals feel supported, seen, and empowered. I am passionate when working with individuals who are going through transitions in their lives as well as working with individuals who could benefit from support when managing their anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem. I have worked in a variety of settings within the field of Social Work which include working as a Trauma-Focused Outpatient Therapist, a Case Manager, an Advocate, and a High School Social Worker. If you feel that I may be a good fit, feel free to reach out to me.
