Dr. Kassy Johnson is a psychologist (LP) specializing in psychotherapy for individuals ages 6 and above, with expertise working with children, adolescents and adults. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Wichita State University and has worked in both private practice and community mental health settings. Dr. Johnson specializes in clients who may have struggled with therapy experiences in the past or have struggled to make progress towards their goals. Dr. Johnson has extensive experience working with children and adults from diverse backgrounds with complex presentations. Utilizing evidence-based approaches, she specializes in treating a range of issues, including interpersonal and emotion regulation struggles, anxiety, depression, women's issues, fertility struggles, grief, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. Dr Johnson approaches clients with kindness, humor and honesty, working to understand each client as an individual. Therapy is focused on working together, finding self-understanding and helping client's open up to work towards the changes they strive to make.
