I work with preteens, teens, and adults as they pursue healing from the stressors of life and work towards wholeness.

Karyna is passionate about working with clients from all backgrounds and championing wholeness and healing in her client’s spheres. Specializing in working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal conflict, and grief, Karyna strives to utilize a person-centered approach and various interventions to tailor treatment to each specific client. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), along with other strengths-based and collaborative approaches, inform her practice. Karyna has practiced social work in various settings such as community mental health, primary care, and youth residential treatment, but is particularly passionate about working with individuals who have been involved in the child welfare setting or who have experienced adoption or guardianship. As a therapist, Karyna desires to be an authentic, empathetic, and safe presence for clients to process through thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She hopes that through collaboration, clients will gain insight and implement healthy coping strategies that will help them overcome obstacles and increase resiliency.
