(She/Her/Hers)
Certified Trauma Professional, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
As Black Women, we are the foundation of so much, and it’s time embrace our power and resilience.
I am a proud graduate of West Chester University, where I earned my degree in Psychology, and I later completed my master’s in counseling psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in DC. With extensive experience in family-based therapy, outpatient care, and partial hospitalization, I made the bold decision to open my own private practice full-time in 2021. As a certified clinical trauma professional, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, holistic methods, and the creative arts of music and art to help clients navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, parenting, maternal health, and postpartum issues. I am also committed to educating others about puberty, menstruation, and sexual health! I founded Melanin Mommy Therapy to uplift Black women! We often bear the weight of stress, anxiety, and depression while our strength goes unrecognized. It's time to embrace our power and resilience. At Melanin Mommy Therapy, I create a nurturing space where Black women can be heard and supported, allowing them to process their own feelings rather than take on the role of educator.
