As an art therapist and psychotherapist, my approach to therapy is creative and compassionate. I provide a safe, affirming, and inclusive environment.
As a nationally Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in North Carolina, my therapeutic approach is creative, direct, and compassionate. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image and self worth, grief and loss, identity development, addressing and challenging perfectionism, and navigating life transitions. With 17+ years of experience across all levels of care, my work with clients draws upon extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). We'll work together to create a plan that best fits your needs including expanding your problem solving capacity and developing creative outlets to manage stress. I provide a safe, affirming, and inclusive environment where all are welcome.
