Hello! My name is Kaitlin (she/her) and I am looking forward to getting to know you!

I believe that our present day emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are linked to experiences from our past, and those events not only impact our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, but they also impact how we view ourselves and our relationships today. It’s my goal to help you grow in your self-esteem and self-acceptance, and to create the language and thought process to believe in yourself, advocate for yourself, and to be optimistic towards yourself. On our first meeting, I'll ask you what your long term goal is with your mental health. We will work together to break that long term goal down into short term goals to take things a day at a time. I want you to have patience with yourself while you push yourself, and I'll be here to cheer you on! Therapy can be intimidating at first. Not only is finding the right therapist a chore, but challenging your known way of thinking is exhausting! It's a huge step in an unknown direction for a lot of people. I am so proud of you for making the exploration to better yourself, and I am so honored and thankful to you for taking the time to read a bit about me.
